Today at MOPS, the girls learned about David and Goliath. In the car, Jessilyn was looking at her papers and pretending to be the teacher. What she said was too funny...
Jessilyn: "OK class, let's tell the story of David and Goliath one more time to help us remember. It is very important to remember not to throw rocks at anyone except giants and mean people."
Do you think she got the point of the lesson?
P.S.-I was so excited yesterday about potty training. The part I forgot: last night Reese got out of bed at least five times. Everytime I would raise my voice and threaten her with a spanking if she got up again, she would get her classic little Reese smile (those of you who know her know just the smile I'm talking about), and say in a sheepinsh little voice, "Reese potty." They learn so quickly how to manipulate, don't they?

Is there some other point to the story of David and Goliath? Your girls are so funny and I can just hear Reese saying "Reese potty" to get out of trouble. The thing about Hutton is I don't want him to get so big so fast but I don't know how to slow him down! I feel like he is not even a newborn anymore and I don't remember everything about him when he was so little just like 5 weeks ago! It is sad, isn't it?
I love the David and Goliath story. It's so funny how kids interpret things.
By the way, I love the foam on the barrett idea. I actually have some of that foam and will try it out! Let me know if you end up making the bows.
How cute!! At least she's learned to apply the story to herself!
I love this!! They are a riot!
That is so cute! The potty excuse is so good because you're like... "well, should I? and if i don't will I regret it???"
aahh!
And I think the story of David and Go. is interesting in that way! I think I told Zayne this same thing when I was explaining to him why it was okay for David to be throwing a rock at that guy's head!! :)
"... but never throw rocks at mommy, Zayne!" haha!
Hey, girl! Yes, I remember Cece...I don't think was still working at CO by the time I got there. Brad was excited to read your comment. I'll check out her blog.
